Communication access for Businesses and Organizations
This is a generic resource for businesses and organizations about providing goods and services to people with communication disabilities. It is presented in eight e-learning modules and contains video clips and tips on a range of accessibility supports. It contains guidelines and videos on different types of communication disabilities; how to interact with a person who has a communication disability in person, on the telephone, at a meeting and how to provide accessible text, print and e-communications.
This resource contains information and video clips about the role that communication assistants can play in supporting an individual to communicate in everyday life.
Safety for People with Communication Disabilities
You will find information about the safety needs of people with communication disabilities along with tools and strategies that they can use.
